Ofsted: The Inspection Dashboard Summary Report (IDSR) and what it tells us

This film considers the key information presented in the IDSR, what it means and tells us. It also promoted reflection on what we need to do in response to the information shared.

The IDSR is a document created by Ofsted which summarises they key data from the previous year (in this instance 2022 to 2023).  This data includes contextual information, attainment and progress, attendance and absence including key information about staff.  Inspectors will look at the IDSR before attending any inspection and this information is used as a starting point for the inspection process.
