Life Lessons and Consent Education

This session will include ways to engage boys in Consent Education in the current climate, what the latest research says about engaging boys in the topic, and how we teach alternative narratives to combat online influencers such as Andrew Tate.

Jamie has supported students to thrive and progress at a range of successful education technology businesses. It was as Product Director of The Student Room, the UK’s largest online student community, that he developed an interest in peer-led support and the influence it can have on behaviour and development.

Jamie co-founded the award-winning organisation Life Lessons, with the mission to help pupils to be healthy, make good decisions and navigate the social and emotional complexities of life. They do this by supporting teachers to deliver evidence-based, peer-led relationships, sex and health education. Their inclusive and relatable peer-led videos put young people at the heart of lessons which have never been more important.
